Easy Summer Nails!

I love summer, you get out all your colourful nail varnishes and everything is so bright and lovely! I'm also in love with this summers nail trend, having nails several different colours or having your ring finger nail a different colour/pattern/design to the others. This summer daisy nail look incorporates this trend subtly but still looks so pretty.

All you need is 4 nail varnishes, a base coat, choose whatever colour you're in the mood for, I chose pink! A white for the daisy petals, you can do whatever colour flower you want though. Same with the middle, do whatever you want but for a daisy you'll need yellow. And finally a top coat!

STEP 1: Apply two layers of your base coat so that it's nice and opaque. If you want to you can use one colour on all your nails and a different one on the daisy nail, or you could do a different colour on every nail! I chose to use the same colour all over because I thought this particular colour was so pretty! The colour I used is called 'Pink Grapefruit' and is Boots own brand No.17, they cost £2.99 which is an amazing price for what you get!
STEP 2: Next take your white nail varnish and literally use the end of the brush to dot on the petals, it takes a steady hand and it takes a few tries but it's so simple once you get the hang of it! You will also need a nail varnish that has a round brush. The white nail varnish I have which is usually for french tips is the 'Nail Tip Whitener' by Rimmel and was £4.59.
STEP 3: After the petals have dried you can then go in with your yellow nail varnish creating the middle,  one dot in the middle is all it needs, exactly the same method as the petals, you will again need a round brush. If you don't have the right brush but have the perfect colours you can always use a clean paint brush. The yellow nail varnish I used is called 'Solar Creme' by Sally Hansen and is £4.99.
STEP 4: Last of all when everything is completely dry apply your favourite top coat to give it extra protection and extra shine! The one i have is No.17 'Nail Recovery' and is £3.99, you can also use this as a base coat underneath the varnish to help strengthen your nails.
It really is that easy! I love the simplicity of it and how it still looks so pretty, it doesn't take long but looks like you've spent time on it. I especially love the bright colours and the girly feel to it, try it out and see how easy it is to do :)
